どこにも見当たらなかったから. . .
Ideaは
ずっと自分が好きな事の中にあった
海外旅行・きもの・和雑貨
いまもそれは変わらない
私の感性や世界感を
きもの生地と柄で表現してみたい
The reason I thought about creating was
suitable for business scene,
simple,chic and Japanese pattern,
because I couldn't find it anywhere. . .
Idea was in my favorite things like
Travel, Kimono, Japanese traditional craft goods.
My sensibility and worldview, I try to express it with kimono fabrics and patterns.
下火になった丹後ちりめんの産地で
2011年、京都北部の日本海際にある旅館へカニを食べに行きました。旅館の人が車で周辺を観光案内してくださり、道の駅で丹後ちりめんの雑貨が素敵で買いました。このあたりは昔、丹後ちりめんの生産地で賑やかだったそうです。今は職人さんの高齢化と安価な中国製品が出回り下火に...と。
その時思いました。「欧米ブランドの小物やバッグよりも、生地や製作工程は高度で素敵なのに」「もっと日本人も和物を身の回りに持って、海外にもその良さが広まると良いな」と。
My thought at the declined home of Tango crepe.
2011, when I went to eat the best crab in Japan to northern Kyoto, owner of the inn took a tour around by car. A mini bag looked shining and I bought it at the station shop of specialty products called Michi-no-Eki. It was made by Tango crepes. Around here a long time ago, it had been famous and busy as a production of Tango crepes area, said owner. Now...it declined due to inexpensive Chinese products and aging of craftsmen. I thought at that time. "These patterns for kimono seem more valuable than foreign high brand design of bag and goods, and also the manufacturing process is so advanced." I dreamed that Japanese people more adapt to their own tradition in everyday life, and the fascination more spread to overseas.
海外の友人が愛する和の模様
当時京都へビジネスで来訪していたフランス人女性が、鮮やかなちりめんの財布を持っていて、洋服に馴染みとても似合っていました。
インドネシアから来た留学生の友人は桜が大好き。修業して帰国の際には、たくさんの桜柄の和雑貨を買って帰りました。後に彼女を訪ねた時、桜のお皿をリクエストするほど。機内持ち込みでもちろん持参しました(笑)。
Japanese pattern my foreign friends love.
At the time the French woman who was visiting to Kyoto on business, and have a crepe purse of Japanese pattern in bright purple, had been very fit.
Other friend who came from Indonesia, loves Sakura so much. When she went back to her country after finishing a graduate course, bought and brought a lot of Sakura pattern goods. When I visited her country later, of course I brought a Sakura pattern dish in a carry-on, so as she asked me to it!
世界中の文化人や観光客が訪れる
「国際都市」京都には、
和文化を活かした雑貨が沢山あります。京友禅、西陣織を代表にその種類とデザインは常に進化し数えきれませんが、私の好む「シンプル・シックな柄」がほとんど見当たりませんでした。このような経緯から「自分で制作してみよう」と思い立ちました。

In an international city Kyoto which gather many tourists and cultural figures from all over the world,
There are so many kinds of goods design utilized old Japanese tradition, as the first of the list, Kyo Yuzen and Nishijin-brocade. The type and design is countless since always has been evolving. However it's not found almost the goods utilized "simple Edo- komon pattern" I prefer.
That's why I came up with creating above by myself.

芸術大学卒業。クラシックの器楽奏者としてフリーランス活動の後、国内海外の企業に勤めバックオフィスの経験を積む。2015年4月に10年来愛用する 和雑貨 × 江戸小紋きもの × 旅好き の3つを掛け合わせた Co-mo-n（こもん） のアイデアを得る。同年7月より自作品のオンライン販売をスタート。外部出展、受注制作も行う。
Graduated from university of arts. After freelance activities as an instrumentalist of classical music, I worked for domestic and foreign companies gained back office experience. In April 2015, I got the idea of Co-mo-n (こもん), which is a combination of Japanese goods, Edo-komon kimono and travel lovers, these were my favorite three things since 10 years. In July of the same year, I started selling my works on the web. Others) participating in selling event, make to order.
